Split the first 20 years of my life between Austin, Texas and Magnolia, Texas Austin may be the big city now but back then you could tell when the college was in or out of session by the traffic and our place in Magnolia well the paved road ended 5 miles from the house and the dirt road barely made it to the house and once you got to the paved road it was another 30 min drive to the nearest grocery store. Now I'm stuck in Cleveland, Ohio where you only get sunshine 3 mnths of the year and they only have pork BBQ and they put beans in their chilli, lord give me strength.

Was in Tampa, FL until this summer when we PCSed to Va Beach. But lived all over as a Navy brat (WA, Antigua, MD, IA, CA, VA, DC, Key West, TX, GA, etc).

I'm from South Boston, VA really small town...is on the NC line....If any of y'all know Ward Burton ...Nascar ...the same town he's from..

PALM BAY FLORIDA , NICE VIEW OF THE SHUTTLE LAUNCHES , BUT THAT IS COMING TO AN END SOON , SO I GUESS NOT MUCH ELSE OF INTEREST , WE DO HAVE A CITY MANAGER WHO IS CUTTING CITY JOBS BUT THINKS IT OK TO DRIVE A NEW HUMMER AS A CITY VEHICLE

Grew up in Hickory, NC...went to Appalachian State Univ....lived in Williamsburg,VA....and now live in Gloucester, VA...Just something about living a smaller town! I LOVE it!

I'm now in Glendale Arizona.  Can you believe it?  Born and raised on a cotton mill village in small town Rockingham , NC.  Then, I met this guy online and woke up in Glendale AZ. lol.....not really.  But, I have lived here since 2005.  But, I'm hanging on to my accent.  They can't take that from me.

I hear ya droppin that Ward Burton name.  I have some ancestors buried in South Boston.  So, we're like family.  I can drop a name for my hometown too.  We're recently famous for being the hometown of Bucky Covington.  Most people are like...." Who's 'at?"  Ok.  I can do better.  Let's see....oh, I used to work at the local hospital and one time I actually held the medical chart of the one and only King....Richard Petty.  Yeah, he'd had a bump up on the track during a race and had to come to the hospital.  So, there....I got my famous person in.  My new cuz in South Boston lives where Ward Burton lived and I held King Richard's medical chart.   We should start our own talk show or something, huh?
